Investment strategist a 'big believer' in precious metals, copper
<body><p>STORY: Analysts have cut their gold price forecasts for the first time since late 2023 after a sharp pullback from January's record highs, a Reuters poll showed, but most still expect support from central bank buying and concerns about fiscal sustainability.</p><p>"With the sharp declines that we've had in the precious metals like gold and silver, we are buying," Bartels said.</p><p>"We think that they are good diversifiers, particularly gold... if we're going to continue to have some signs of inflation."</p><p>Gold prices rose on Thursday, and copper rose to a one-week high.</p></body>
